Born from the wildly popular, absurdly simple, neuroscience-based initiative of marine biologist Wallace J. Nichols, the Blue Marbles Project is an environmental/social outreach campaign that seeks to reconnect people to our water planet through the science of gratitude.
The project began on Jacques Cousteau’s 100th birthday, nearly three years ago and has expanded rapidly around the world. To date, Blue Marbles have been shared globally with millions of people in celebration of our beautiful, fragile, blue planet.
Now, The Blue Marbles Project has set out to pass a blue marble through the hands of every person on earth, sharing a simple message of gratitude for our little blue planet.
