Why is Fluoride added to city tap water? Video by stormcloudsgathering

February 6, 2011 by Laura

A friend of mine sent me the link to a powerful video I would like to share with my readers. If you have any doubt that fluoride is toxic poison after seeing this video, make sure to check out the links and do your own research on the toxic effects of fluoride. Please note. In the video he mentions water filters. You must understand that the most "effective" way of reducing fluoride from tap water is through a reverse osmosis. (regular water filters do NOT remove fluoride).     Fluoride, or ...[READ MORE]

Change.Org petition to congress: stop wasting tax dollars on bottle water

February 3, 2011 by Laura

Here's an easy place to start: According to Corporate Accountability International, Congress spent nearly $200,000 on bottled water in just three months last year. Recent studies estimate that bottled water costs almost 2,000 times more than tap water – even ...[READ MORE]

Dr. Mercola and Houston Tomasz of Aquasana Deceiving Customers! part 2

January 13, 2011 by Laura

In a previous post, I discussed Dr. Mercola and his deceptive advertising of his water filter (the "pure and clear" water filter made by Aquasana aka "sun water systems"). In that post Dr. Mercola discusses the importance of NSF certification and at the 8 minute mark in the video, the words "NSF CERTIFIED" pop up on the video screen, insinuating that their water filters have been certified by NSF. So, today I clicked on the video, and I got the error message "this video has been removed". I was ...[READ MORE]

Welcome to the water filter lady’s blog! Meet Laura…

I have been in the water filter business since 2006. My goal is to help educate you. Deciding to drink filtered tap water instead of bottled water can have huge benefits for the earth. We can eliminate unnecessary waste going into our landfills and oceans, cut back on the energy it takes to produce and transport the bottles, reduce our exposure to harmful chemicals like BPA, and stop supporting an industry moving to turn water from a common resource into an expensive commodity.
